Andrew became a Licensed Massage Therapist in Wisconsin to further his mission to be helpful to others. Respect for the role of massage in sports recovery and overall wellness peaked while training for and completing his first marathon at 51, greatly aided by weekly massage therapy.
Continuing a career energized by an analytic approach and continuous curiosity career in corporate consulting, Andrew chose Massage Therapy and Alpine Ski Patrolling pursuits after early retirement in 2022. Rescue and recovery is now an everyday theme.
He continues to scale the learning curve of human anatomy and movement through continuous training in Neuromuscular Therapy, Clinical Thai Bodywork and Sports Massage. His East-Meets-West fusion of techniques in clinic facilitates restoring pain free movement for his clients.
So many of us are “everyday athletes”, active people who use movement to do our jobs and/or maintain our bodies to extend our health span. As a lifelong athlete, from soccer in his earlier days to cycling, hiking, and now triathlon training, Andrew extends personal experience with continuing education focused on advanced techniques to address the variety of sport and movement specific muscular issues we all face as active human beings. He seeks to understand how muscular tension and pain got there, which is key to getting it out.
His clients often say that he makes therapeutic massage relaxing. When he’s not in clinic, on his bike or on the ski hill, you might find him under a pop up tent at the finish line of running or cycling events with a Thai pad, table and chair massage equipment to help people experience the many benefits of massage.
